My latest to Threadless.com for the "Political Cartoons" contest. I reworked an earlier piece I did of Abraham Lincoln. Thought it fit in well with this contest. As always! More work to do, --Lance

Final Threadless/Marvel submits for 2016
My final 5 submits for the Threadless/Marvel tee shirt contest. Here's: Hellcat, Spider-Man (Black Costume), Ghost Rider, The Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus.
I think I did about 30 of these for 2016. I'll continue this series with other characters for years to come- don't know if I can keep up the 2016 pace! As always, much more work to do, --Lance

Abraham Lincoln- Gettysburg Address
I'm a huge history fan/nutjob/crazyperson. Always have been. I'm constantly reading biographies, non-fiction books, Wikipedia, history websites and watching documentaries. It's a little crazy to say the least. My favorite person in history (by far) is Abraham Lincoln. While looking at pictures from Matthew Brady & Alexander Gardner I started this piece back in February (Mr. Lincoln's birthday month) I noticed how much he aged from 1857 to 1864. I think we know why. He had a stressful job. Anyway, I combined these pictures and here's what I came up with. I worked on it all year and finished it in time for the 153rd anniversary of The Gettysburg Address.
Threadless Pictures, Cotton Bureau/Pinterest, etc
Well, I'm still dancing over my first Threadless print. 6 years of work and submitting pieces to them- and then to win a Marvel, Spider-Man contest? I'm knocked over to say the least. Here's what it looks like on their website. Yes I took lots of screen shots.
Also, as I'm want to do- I'll Google image search myself. Last week I stumbled upon a tee shirt I did last year for Cotton Bureau and found it on someone's Pinterest board! Talk about a happy accident! Yes, another screen shot.
