Spring 2014 postings!

All of my latest for 2014!  The top one is for Threadless called "Broken Hipster".  Came from an idea that just popped into my head.  The second one is for Creative Allies.  A poster contest for the Aloe Blacc single called "The Man" which is featured in the Beats Headphones commercials.  The bottom two are also for a Creative Allies contest.  For the record label Easy Star Records.  It's a reggae label that combines a lion and the colors of black, red & gold.  This is what I came up with showing all the color variations & a detail of the logos.  

Sherlock Holmes- for threadless of course

Happy 2014- my first post of the New Year. For Threadless.com of course.  It's their "Sherlock Holmes Tee Shirt Contest".  I had to enter.  One color screen print on slate grey.  Off to do more artwork, read, artwork & read, later -Lance

Last post for 2013

My last submit to threadless.com for 2013.  It was for their "Words of Wisdom" tee shirt contest.  A neighbor told me this saying a while ago and I thought it was perfect for this contest.  Much, much, much more work to do for 2014 on all fronts!!!!!  Looking forward to it, regards ---Lance

Latest to Creative Allies

My 2 latest to Creative Allies.  The first is for Eazy E, 25th Anniversary Eazy Duz It.  

I just had to enter that contest.  The second is for the Zedd/Hayley Williams of Paramore single

"Stay the Night".  They wanted a comic book theme for the artwork so I couldn't stop myself.

Fall 2013 postings

Here are my last three submits to Threadless.com.  The top one was for the "Science" contest so I went with lightning/water pressure, etc.  The middle one is called "Space Pants. Space Ants".  The bottom one is "Loose Lips" for the "Next Big Tee Shirt Contest"  I'll let you know if I win that one. More work to do, later -Lance

Creative Allies Posters

I recently discover a new site that I started posting to called Creative Allies.  They do art contests for bands, films, festivals, etc.  Too much fun for me to pass up.  The first poster I did was for Ellie Goulding & Calvin Harris for their single "I Need Your Love".

The second was for Johnny Cash.  I'm a big fan of his and I could not resist.  It's for "A Boy Named Sue".

Hope to do many more submits (and win a few contests hopefully) for this site.

Black & White Threadless & PATH Stickers

My latest submits to thread less.com.  The top one is called "Bringing Home the Bacon".  It is for their Black & White tee shirt contest.  I am a huge fan of B&W art so this was a natural for me.

The bottom one is a 6 pack of stickers for the threadless + PATH contest.  PATH is a San Francisco based company that makes emoticon "stickers" for texting.  I thought this idea was too fun to pass up.
